Lonely Planet Publications and MyTripJournal Technologies announced today the expansion of MyTripJournal's custom-branded travel journaling service to customers and visitors at Lonely Planet's flagship website http://www.lonelyplanet.com.

The service will be expanded at various levels within the Lonely Planet site.

Personal Travel Websites powered by MyTripJournal provide visitors to LonelyPlanet.com with a premium set of tools allowing them to easily document their travels through maps, photos, video and text, and to communicate with family and friends throughout their travels.    These features, along MyTripJournal's customized archiving service, have been valued by Lonely Planet customers since May 2004.
