Marys Lake Lodge and Resort announces their Thanksgiving Day 2007 menu. The meal is served family style and may be enjoyed between 11am and 10pm in The Tavern or the Grandmaison's Chalet. The Tavern provides a fun environment whereas the Grandmaison's Chalet provides an elegant ambiance.
The holiday feast consists of choices in the following: hot apple cider after a brisk day in Rocky Mountain National Park, Mimosa's, Raspberry shrub, or Champagne. The entrée selection includes choices between roasted turkey with Canadian style dressing and giblet gravy, baked Virginia ham with roasted pineapple raisin sauce, poached Halibut with tomato and basil pesto, or succulent prime rib with au jus and horseradish cream sauce. With the meal imported olives, fresh berries and crudite, vegetables and potatoes are also provided. Don't be shy, ask for seconds if you'd like.
Save room for dessert! Choices included: pumpkin pie and blueberry pie with whipped cream, carrot cake, apple cobbler, chocolate cake, bread pudding, crème Brule, cookies and brownies, and cheesecake with fresh berries. Award wining chef Marc Grandmaison prides himself on guest satisfaction.
