Hunter Douglas -- the nation's leading manufacturer and marketer of custom window fashions -- has announced the launch of a cutting-edge new design tool on their Web site, http://www.hunterdouglas.com. The Hunter Douglas iMagine™ Design Center is an interactive gallery that allows you to visualize every Hunter Douglas window fashion in its full-range of colors, fabrics and constructions on windows in customizable room settings. Simply by adjusting a few settings on this user-friendly tool you can see how light is transformed by the selected window fashion and how it looks with a variety of decorating schemes. You can even zoom in on any of the products for a close-up view of fabric, color and material. This exciting new addition to the Hunter Douglas Web site truly takes the guesswork out of finding the perfect window fashion that best reflects your personal style and fulfills all your practical requirements.
"The iMagine Design Center is unlike other image rendering tools because it visually displays the effects of light in the room." said Linda Bellitt, Director of Marketing Technology and Research for Hunter Douglas. "By adjusting the fabric, material or color, changes in lighting in the room and the view of the outside world become immediately apparent."
Upon entering the site you simply choose a product and are then given the opportunity to view detailed images and also see the window fashion in a variety of room settings. Both options allow you to zoom in and out, change fabric, colors, opacities, textures and more, and easily toggle between the two views. The room scenes can even be customized with a vast selection of floorings, fabrics for upholstery and bedding and wall colors. The vivid paint colors are provided by Benjamin Moore®. Format, color, fabric and material of the window fashion can then be adjusted. These specialized elements of the iMagine Design Center allow you to tailor the products to visualize what they will look like once they are installed in your home, or in the home of your dreams.
The iMagine Design Center also provides links to product and operating system videos as well as "Special Features" which highlight the unique qualities of the specific Hunter Douglas product you are interested in.
"With all the iMagine Design Center has to offer, the idea of investing in custom window fashions suddenly seems much less daunting," said Bellitt. "Having a visual representation of what you want before meeting with your Hunter Douglas dealer makes deciding on the final product easier and more enjoyable than before. You can even print out your choice to show to your Hunter Douglas dealer."
The Hunter Douglas iMagine Design Center is now available and can be accessed by visiting http://www.hunterdouglas.com and clicking on the "iMagine" icon. To find an authorized Hunter Douglas dealer near you, follow the "Dealer Locator" link in the iMagine Design Center or on the "Where to Buy" link on the home page.
