New York, N.Y. (PRWEB) December 2, 2007
shuzsociety™, the unique online magazine and affinity network that is the premier source for "all things shoes", is delighted to announce Anthony Cady, professor of footwear design at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City has joined the website to post the "Street Shuz" blog. When not teaching introductory footwear design, athletic footwear construction or historical footwear at FIT, Cady will profile women on the streets of New York and chronicle the stories their shoes tell about them.
Most recently lauded for the shoe collection he created for Jay McCarroll of Project Runway infamy, for his Olympus Fashion Week show in New York, Cady holds a host of distinctions in the shoe industry. In 2005, Cady was part of Women's Wear Daily's "Accessories Industry Next Big Star" selection and in 2004 he won the Accessories Council / ELLE Group Award for outstanding Innovation in Design.
An avid shoe fanatic with more than 100 pairs of shoes (more than his wife we are told), Cady flips the stereotype that women love shoes more than men. He designs shoes. He makes shoes. He collects shoes. He goes on shoe buying benders -- and now he writes a curiously clever blog about shoes for shuzsociety™.
shuzsociety™ is a virtual meeting place where shoe lovers, designers and retailers interact, cultivate and support well-heeled footwear fanatics from all walks of life.
