With the release of the February Issue, "Africa's Premiere Entertainment Portal" will take the world into an African Love Zone.

Based on data from American Greetings, Valentine's Day (which occurs on February 14th) represents approximately 1 billion cards, making it the second most popular day for cards after Christmas. Therefore with such an important global history representing fertility, love, romance or amour it the tradition had to be celebrated. Said to date as far back as the Middle Ages and or 270 AD, Valentine's Day has deep roots in Roman, French, English and Christian traditions - which as a Pan-African Publication, is important to recognize.

"Our research showed that, in addition to the United States, Valentine's Day is celebrated in Mexico, the United Kingdom, France, and Australia. With our readers represented in these five regions and beyond, it was only appropriate that this issue, be reflective of the many faces of African love," said Mwabi Kaira-Murdock, Editor-in-Chief at Jamati.com.

February is once again seasoned with exclusive interviews, profiles, news and firsts on Jamati.com. The ever popular lists feature will unveil the "Top 10 African Love Songs," and "Loving You Is So Easy To Do - Hot Couples" which will showcase African celebrities and their mates.
