This Tuesday April 8th, TSOT hosts another installment of their monthly Ruby on Rails Project Night for the Toronto tech community. The highly anticipated event will be the fourth of its kind for TSOT, Inc., local developer of scalable peer production networks, and the company has seen great support from Toronto's tech elite. Featuring dynamic presentations on a variety of new projects, the TSOT Ruby on Rails Project Night delivers a unique opportunity for the Toronto programming community to interact and collaborate on the leading edge of Ruby/Rails development.
This month's TSOT Ruby on Rails Project Night brings insightful presentations from top Toronto developers, including both core concepts and new ideas being built in Ruby on Rails. Mike Bowler, president of Gargoyle Software, will begin with a Ruby core class on meta-programming as he looks at "Diving into meta-programming with Date.once". Next, Kristan Uccello will examine the architecture and design of the Domainer.com platform through his presentation, "Web Development Demons: Why it can be hard to do something simple". Finally, TSOT is pleased to welcome Id`Inc. co-founder and CEO Leila Boujnane, who will discuss Id`Inc.'s highly successful image search APIs. TSOT Ruby on Rails Project Night presentations are geared towards the technical expertise of the audience and offer the opportunity for guests to ask questions, share solutions, and discuss the challenges associated with each of these dynamic projects.
