On October 8, 2008, the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel in Nova Scotia will be hosting the IWK Health Centre's annual fundraising event. This year, supporters are invited to Granite Springs Golf Club to participate in 18 holes of golf in support of the IWK Health Centre in conjunction with the Children's Miracle Network.
The event promises to be filled with more than simply impeccable greens. Food and fun will be in abundance along with participation from a number of local businesses, families and corporations coming to support the event on behalf of the IWK Health Centre. Last year's fundraising efforts raised approximately $20,000 - all of which was proudly donated to the IWK Health Centre.
