Boise, ID (PRWEB) October 14, 2008
Boise dog tails are wagging in delight with Camp Bow Wow's® announcement that their doors will be open on October 11, 2008. At camp, "man's best friend" will make new friends, play all day, and snooze the night away in luxury anytime a beloved pooch must be left behind. With the Camp's excellent location at 3430 S. TK Avenue, right behind Joanne's Fabrics on Federal Way, the luxuries of this innovative concept in doggy day care and overnight boarding are readily accessible to all caring pet guardians of Boise.
Camp Bow Wow® is Boise's premier doggy day care for great reasons; the 7,400 sq. ft. facility incorporates eight indoor/outdoor upscale play areas where dogs are always free to romp and roam. At Camp Bow Wow®, specific 'walk or play time' isn't necessary as pups enjoy the Camp's All Day Play, Sleep the Night Away® concept with other dogs whether they are there for just the day or for overnight boarding.
If missing your dog puts a cramp in your vacation, Camp Bow Wow® has the solution! Camper Cams® are strategically placed in virtually every nook and cranny, allowing loving guardians to view their furry friends all day. After the day campers go home, the overnighters are tucked-in to private, climate-controlled luxury cabins complete with a fleece lined camp cot and given a tasty campfire treat before they peacefully snooze the night away.
"We are so excited to open our doors and begin providing this incredible service to our community," stated Beth Peterson, who co-owns the camp along with her husband, Greg. "While my husband and I have managed many projects over the course of our professional lives, no business is closer to our heart than Camp Bow Wow.®"
The Peterson's dedication to the dogs of Boise led them to establish a relationship with the Idaho Humane Society, with whom they plan to rescue and foster some of the less fortunate dogs of the community. "We want every dog to have the personal attention we can provide for them here at Camp, so we are fostering several dogs with the hope that we can find wonderful people to adopt them," said Peterson.
To celebrate and formally introduce this great business to the Boise community, Camp Bow Wow will be holding a Grand Opening Event on Saturday, November 1, from 12:00-4:00 p.m.! This fun free event is open to the public and will include games, prizes, and special appearances by the Greyhound Rescue, the Idaho Humane Society, Copper Dog specialty pet supplies, Nature's Variety nutritional dog food, and the Pet Companions Animal Hospital. This event will surely be the bark of the town!
While you attend the Grand Opening Event, make sure to set up a meet and greet appointment for your dog. This is a supervised play date with a small number of dogs of the same size and temperament. It's a fun time for your dog and helps them adjust to Camp Bow Wow® while giving the counselors a chance to get to know the pup's individual personality. This meet and greet gives your pooch a free play day and a taste of a tail wagging good time.
Camp Bow Wow® Boise will also be hosting VIP tours of the camp to special guests throughout the month of October. To set up your personal tour, call the Camp at (208) 331-5091.
