Putting Social Media to Work
A key component of the new feature is called "TeamPulse," which is a Twitter-like way to communicate continuously with your team members. A "pulse" is equivalent to a Twitter "tweet" (or update), but private for only your team members. And, unlike Twitter, it is not limited to 140 characters, giving team members more flexibility for work-related tasks and projects. An important additional function of the TeamPulse feature is this: it automatically "pulses" on your behalf when you start or complete a task (that is, when you mark a task as "In Progress" or "Complete" within OnePlace™). In this way, all team members automatically get notified and stay in-the-know continuously about project status, in real time.
