Open Shoppe is a new online gallery featuring innovative works of artists from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. These include sculpture, painting, drawing, music, poetry, photography, jewelry and wearable art.

Open Shoppe is an online gallery that features innovative art. Its unique collection includes sculpture, drawings and paintings, jewelry, poetry books, CDs, photography and wearable art.

The online art gallery Open Shoppe features artists of various disciplines, bringing inspiration to everyday life. The door is open to everyone in all countries; to artists in various genres and to art lovers in all life styles and generations. Open Shoppe's mission is to spread creative ideas and positive energy through the arts because it is the key to positive thinking and helps to promote lively communities.

Open Shoppe is conceived and created by New York City resident and musician, Saco Yasuma whose dream is to establish a multi-discipline institution that would be an art wonderland in the New York City area. The profit from this online multi-discipline gallery will fund the space for this project. Open Shoppe's activities are reciprocal; as many artists gain exposure, it involves and inspires the wider community. The Online Art Gallery, Open Shoppe plans to hold quarterly exhibitions and performances for each season and will present its first event: Winter Art Party and Exhibition on December 6th and 7th, 2008, 1-6pm.* It features the works of visual artists Ted Berkowitz, Amir Bey, Mitsuyo Mori; jewelry artists Joan Fleur, Barbara Sfraga; and also the photographer, Karen Tweedy-Holmes, who will join the site in January 2009. Barbara Sfraga and Golda Solomon will read their poems from their books, while they will be joined by guest musicians. Books by Golda, Barbara and Karen are available at the show as well as the CDs of innovative musicians Fay Victor, Eri Yamamoto, Ras Moshe, and Barbara Sfraga and Center Search Quest.
