PHelan's controversial book now open to the public.
Tom Phelan of Ramsey, New Jersey has written a book titled 'Man In The Shadows: Diary of a Private Eye', that has caused him to be fearful of his life. A contract had been put out on him for injury, then death. He was attacked numerous times and they tried to blow up his car. His plane was sabotaged at 39,000 feet an hour after leaving Madrid, Spain.
There were many attempts to silence him because of the extremely secret information revealed in this book. In Grenada, South America Tom and the United States Delegate were surrounded by Maurice Bishop and his men in the jungles and saved by an agent of Premiere Eric Gairey. In Athens, Greece, Phelan and the US Delegate to the Mid-East were attacked by three Arabs believed to be the ones that assassinated the Athens US Embassy Head of Station.
Other dangerous exploits in the book are: Phelan bodyguarding Jimmy Hoffa just before he disappeared and directing security for the Rolling Stones.
During WWII and the Korean War Tom was assigned to Militery Police duties while serving in the United States Marine Corps. He was formerly a detective with the New York City Police Department and now is the owner of The Hunters, Inc. a private detective agency.
Tom Phelan is an author of five books and has won many prestigious awards.
