More About Trea Davenport
Davenport began asserting her talent by using her friends as guinea pigs. Her first clients included high school friends Miss Nicci of R&B sensation, Brownstone, with hits "If You Love Me" and Grapevine" and Apollo legend, the critically acclaimed spoken word artist/publisher Jessica Care Moore.
Davenport eventually formed a small public relations and artist development company based in her hometown of Detroit, MI. Davenport earned the Director of Publicity position with Big Cat Records and was eventually named Director of Operations. The label is now one of the southern United States' most promising independents, and under Davenport's reign was lauded by Billboard Magazine as one of the Top 10 Independent Record Labels. Her in the trenches approach and proven track record of securing television, radio and print media hits for even the most obscure acts, catapulted the demand for her services and poised her to become one of the most widely recognized Entertainment Publicists.
Through her own company, Trea Day Management & Publicity, Davenport helped to break a range of talented rising stars, such Atlantic/Big Cat rapper, Gucci Mane and Island Def Jam recording artist Chrisette Michele.
