New York, NY (PRWEB) January 5, 2009
James Holler, a partner of the noted energy consulting firm, Direct Line to Compliance (DLC), has been tapped to be the NERC keynote speaker during the March Western Turbine Users Group Convention in Palm Springs. One of the most knowledgeable auditors in NERC compliance, Mr. Holler will be presenting a complete "How-to" presentation in NERC compliance, specifically for the Reliability Standards and CIP requirements.
Many misconceptions currently exist about NERC compliance due to the confusing language and constant changes to the standards; 90% of all compliance managers admit that they are not clear on what all of the standards truly mean on a day to day basis.
James Holler's team at Direct Line to Compliance has successfully guided over 60 audits to successful conclusions by interfacing with NERC, FERC, IESO and other regulatory bodies, as well as the regional entities in North America, such as WECC and NPCC.
Holler has been heavily involved in training Generator and Transmission owner / operators in the "real world" operations of their facilities in this new compliance environment which threatens to cost owners hundreds of millions in fines in 2009, if the compliance guidelines are not taken seriously.
Direct Line to Compliance is currently accepting several new clients and performing mock-audits and gap assessments in order to give owners and operators a good idea of how they currently comply with NERC standards.
