Amsterdam Hospitality offers free hotel rooms to passengers of US airways flight 1549.

In response to the US Airways emergency landing yesterday in New York City and in collaboration with the Red Cross relief efforts, Amsterdam Hospitality Group, which operates the well-known Empire Hotel, is offering each of the 155 passengers and crew complimentary accommodations until January 19, 2009 at any of their seven New York City hotels. These include The Empire Hotel and The Marcel at Gramercy, as well as The Ameritania, Amsterdam Court, Astor on the Park, The Bentley Hotel and The Moderne. The hotel group is hoping to provide safety and comfort to those who experienced yesterday's unfortunate incident.

"It was such a relief to hear that all of the passengers and crew of flight 1549 survived this harrowing experience. We wanted to help out and ease the stress of the situation by opening our doors to them," said George Dfouni, COO Amsterdam Hospitality Group.

Amsterdam Hospitality Group, established in 1996, is a real estate development and hospitality management organization operating in three segments - hotels, residential properties and commercial buildings.
