Skweezer, Inc. achieves profitability as mobile advertising continues to gain momentum.

Skweezer, Inc., today announced that the company experienced its seventh consecutive quarter of growth and its first quarter of profitability in the fourth quarter of 2008.

The company's steady growth, despite the troubled economic climate, can be attributed to increased earnings from its Skweezer Ads mobile advertising product. Skweezer Ads offers several different ad distribution formats, such as banner ads and contextual text-based ads, however its sponsored mobile search results generated the majority of revenue during Q408. Another factor in the company's growth was a rising cost-per-click rate (the amount of revenue generated when an ad is clicked), which nearly doubled over the course of 2008.
