Irvine, Calif. (PRWEB) January 26, 2009
Skweezer, Inc., today announced that the company experienced its seventh consecutive quarter of growth and its first quarter of profitability in the fourth quarter of 2008.
The company's steady growth, despite the troubled economic climate, can be attributed to increased earnings from its Skweezer Ads mobile advertising product. Skweezer Ads offers several different ad distribution formats, such as banner ads and contextual text-based ads, however its sponsored mobile search results generated the majority of revenue during Q408. Another factor in the company's growth was a rising cost-per-click rate (the amount of revenue generated when an ad is clicked), which nearly doubled over the course of 2008.
"Advertisers and content publishers are embracing the mobile Web as a channel to connect to potential customers," said Mark Sieve, president of Skweezer. "Skweezer Ads is a proven, successful mobile advertising platform that we believe will continue to increase the company's earnings as mobile advertising becomes more widely adopted."
Skweezer Ads is an online advertising service that supplies both desktop and mobile ads in a single ad feed, automatically displaying the correct type of ad to each visitor. Skweezer Ads customers have the added benefit of being able to use Skweezer's mobilization technology to automatically create a mobile version of their Web site, which is dynamically created whenever a mobile visitor is detected.
Skweezer Ads is the world's first internationally-consumed mobile advertising service, having served mobile ads in over 175 countries since its release in 2004, and was voted Best Mobile Marketing Product in the 2006 and 2007 Mobile Star Awards.
