Canoo will be participating at this year's Mobile World Congress 2009 as Sun Microsystems "Java application showcase project" partner, as Sun officially launches its much-anticipated JavaFX Mobile technology (http://javafx.com).
A brand-new, JavaFX Mobile-based version of the Music Pinboard application entitled Music Pinboard Mobile will be installed on several of the latest mobile hardware devices for members of the public to see and try out.
Senior software engineers Mike Mannion and Alberto Mijares will be present on the Sun Microsystems stand to talk first-hand about their experience with JavaFX Mobile technology.

In December 2008 Sun officially launched JavaFX - a technology tightly integrated with the Java platform, which aims to simplify the development of multimedia- and animation-rich user interfaces. In February 2009, Sun will officially launch JavaFX Mobile, a version of the JavaFX runtime explicitly designed for execution on mobile devices.
