Attorney F. Braxton 'Brack' Terry, of Terry, Terry & Stapleton, in Morristown, Tennessee, has been named a 'Rising Star of the Mid-South' by Super Lawyers publication.

Terry focuses his law practice in personal injury, medical malpractice, birth injury, products liability and workers' compensation.

After earning his law degree at the Nashville School of Law in 1996, Terry was admitted to the Tennessee Bar. He has also been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.

Terry serves as a member of the Walters State Community College Foundation Board of Directors. The Division of Business at Carson Newman College named him Distinguished Young Alumnus for 2006-07. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Tennessee Association of Justice and the Northeast Tennessee Federal Bar Association Board of Directors.

Super Lawyers' selection process uses peer recognition and professional achievement as its main criteria in a points-based scoring system. Only 2.5 percent of those nominated receive the distinction. The 'Rising Star' category includes lawyers who are 40 and under. The Mid-South area includes Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas.
