Well, now we can. When an EventsInAmerica.com member uses 'Meet Me At The Show,' he gets a jump start on networking and doing business with exhibitors and attendees - sometimes weeks or months ahead of show date.

EventsInAmerica.com, the largest online directory of business events, tradeshows, conferences and meetings in the United States, launches today a new technology feature that anyone who exhibits at or attends a trade show or event will find valuable.
'Meet Me At The Show' is a pre-event sign-up system that allows registered users of EventsInAmerica.com to announce their attendance at upcoming events and then network with others.
"How often have all of us wished we could find out, ahead of time, who's going to exhibit at or attend a particular event -- and then have their contact information available?" says Mark Travers, publisher of http://www.EventsInAmerica.com. "Well, now we can. When an EventsInAmerica.com member uses 'Meet Me At The Show,' he gets a jump start on networking and doing business with exhibitors and attendees - sometimes weeks or months ahead of show date."
Here's how 'Meet Me At The Show' works:
1. Members sign in at http://www.EventsInAmerica.com. (Membership is free.)
2. The member finds the event he wants to attend or exhibit at.
3. On the event record, the member finds the section called 'Meet Me At The Show.' (It's right below 'Booth Details' and right above 'My Notes' on each event record.)
4. The member clicks the orange RSVP button.
5. The member fills in the brief form and clicks 'Submit.'
That's it. The member's name and contact information populates the 'Meet Me At The Show' sign-up form. Members can list any combination of contact methods, including email, phone, LinkedIn, Facebook and Plaxo. Exhibitors and attendees will then be able to contact anyone listed on the form.
"'Meet Me At The Show' is a great way for Exhibitors to generate meetings before the event. It's a great tool for Attendees to pre-arrange for product demos and individualized attention with Exhibitors. And it's something that every Event Organizer should encourage because it will help create more buzz and contribute to greater attendance," says Travers.
'Meet Me At The Show' is another free service of EventsInAmerica.com, one of the most powerful business development tools available today.
EventsInAmerica.com is the most comprehensive online directory of business trade shows, events, conferences and meetings in the United States. It has detailed information on over 12,000 events in 14 major categories and 150 sub-categories. It offers tools to help users search, save, sync and share event information. And perhaps best of all, it's free for all to use.
