Joe Decker, founder of GutCheckFitness.com and the man with seemingly 'Super-Hero' levels of fitness, will grace CrossFit Radio this Wednesday, at 6pm Pacific to share his insights on his work hard/play hard philosophy and to promote his tough new fitness competition, The Gut Check Challenge.
For those who haven't yet heard of Joe's accomplishments, he's earned the title of "World's Fittest Man" from the Guinness Book of World Records when he did:
100 miles of cycling
10 miles running
Five miles power walking
Six miles kayaking
10 miles hiking
Two miles swimming
3,000 abdominal crunches
1,100 jumping jacks
1,000 leg lifts
1,100 push-ups
Ten miles on a rowing machine
Ten miles on a Nordic Track
plus 278,000 cumulative LBS of weight-lifting.
...all at once, and all in UNDER 24 hours!
Joe frequently competes in ultra-marathons (100 mile running competitions) and recently placed third in the California's Strongest Man man (quite the accomplishment given that Joe is under 200lbs).
On Wednesday, April 1st, CrossFit Radio host Neil Anderson will be talking with Joe Decker and talking callers on his successful radio program beginning at 6pm PST. You can listen live at http://radio.crossfit.com. Joe will be talking about his methods for motivation, recovery, and mental toughness as well as promoting his grueling new fitness competition being held April 25th, 2009 in sunny San Diego, California.
