Skypanels™ promote a feeling of calmness and lend relief from the harsh glare of traditional light diffusers.

We're happy to donate these panels and hope that they can relieve some of the anxiety kids feel while they're in the hospital.

USA Skypanels is pleased to donate a selection of 26 light diffusers to Starlight Children's Foundation for placement in hospitals with pediatric facilities. Starlight has selected five hospitals to receive the decorative light diffusers, and USA Skypanels is shipping them out today.

For many children, a trip to a medical facility can cause anxiety. Fear of an uncomfortable visit, or the prospect of having to stay in the hospital overnight can make little ones feel uneasy. The makers of Skypanels™ are sensitive to both the anxiety and stress patients may feel when faced with these situations.

Studies have shown that patients who could view a tree or the sky from their windows sited elevated moods, less anxiety, and shorter recovery time. While it is not possible to view the outdoors from every room in a medical facility, Skypanels™ have solved this problem by creating a decorative line of light diffuser panels that fit into standard fluorescent ceiling fixtures in most hospitals, medical facilities, and commercial offices. Patients receiving treatment in locations with Skypanels™ may feel a calming effect as they will no longer be subjected to the harsh glare of traditional overhead lighting and they will have a beautiful scene from nature to look at during their course of treatment.

"We have a heart for children," Ali Salomi, Managing Director of USA Skypanels said. "We're happy to donate these panels and hope that they can relieve some of the anxiety kids feel while they're in the hospital."

USA Skypanels and the Starlight Children's Foundation are donating to the following hospitals:
Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center - New York, NY
White Plains Hospital Center - White Plains, NY
St. Joseph's Children's Hospital at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center - Paterson, NJ
The Arizona Burn Center at Maricopa Medical Center - Phoenix AZ
Laughlin Health Care Foundation - Greenville, TN

"Instead of laying on a treatment or exam table and staring up at the standard beige plastic diffusers found in most hospitals, pediatric patients will be cared for under comforting images of billowing clouds and palm trees," said Jenny Isaacson, Vice President of Brand Marketing and Communications at Starlight. "The light panels will help the children relax during what is an often uncomfortable and even painful hospital experience."

Skypanels™ capture the essence of nature while creating an illusion of being under real skies and other natural therapeutic settings. Skypanels™ are custom designed, decorative translucent panels, that fit into standard fluorescent ceiling fixtures and replace the dull, brittle, plastic stock diffusers found in most commercial offices, hospitals, schools, and homes. Skypanels™ have been attributed to reducing tension and headaches by providing relief from the harsh glare of traditional overhead diffuser lighting. By creating a feeling of being outdoors, Skypanels™ users cited elevated moods, feelings of calmness, as well as an increased overall sense of well being, as compared to those who worked under traditional light diffusers.

Used by thousands of customers nationwide, USA Skypanels™ delivers quality products at affordable pricing. Coming in a variety of designs ranging from clouds, to colorful blossoms, to a variety of trees, and hot air balloons, Skypanels™ bring the relaxation and color of the outdoors, into a variety of interior settings including healthcare facilities, offices, conference rooms, retail spaces, spas, hotels, restaurants, homes and schools.
