Technology services firm ProServeIT recently opened its first branch office in Calgary, Alberta. From Calgary, ProServeIT looks forward to serving Western Canadian clients more efficiently and expanding its client base across the country.
Effective Monday, October 19, IT industry veteran James Thompson assumes the role of Western Canada Branch Manager. Thompson brings advanced certifications, such as ITIL version 3 and TOGAF 8, to the ProServeIT expertise portfolio.
Over 12 years of service delivery work, seven of which he spent in direct supervision of IT operations teams, Thompson accumulated a wide range of experience in everything from customer support and project management to service delivery and vendor relationship management. Previous employers include IBM Global Services, Telus Communications Company and Bell Canada.
"We're excited about the service James will deliver to our clients," says David Reimer, president of ProServeIT, adding "We look forward to the contributions James will bring to our management team."
"ProServeIT's people and methods will generate plenty of interest when I bring the company's message to the Western Canadian market," Thompson says. "Certifications from industry leaders like Microsoft, VMware and Citrix, all found under the same roof, will make a compelling story for businesses that seek to deliver quality professional services projects.
