InventHelp®, America's leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Miami Gardens, Fla.., has designed an accessory to hold various hairstyles firmly in place. This invention is patented.
The "Lock Rap" could enable a user to secure long and thick hairstyles in place. The accessory could minimize the time and effort required to put up one's hair in a ponytail or other hairstyle. Designed for easy use, the unit could provide an attractive alternative to conventional hair ties or rubber bands.
The Lock Rap would consist of an elongated strip producible from elastic, metal, plastic and fabric. The unit would measure approximately ¼ to ¾ inch high, four inches long and ¼ to ½ inch wide. The accessory would operate in the same manner as a hair tie but would lock in place with a clip-style mechanism, which would be used to create a firmer hold. The accessory could be producible in a variety of colors, sizes and styles. Bows or other ornaments could be incorporated into the design. Variations with hook-and-loop fabric fastening strips instead of metal clips could be offered.
InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor.
