JWT INSIDE is pleased to announce that in partnership with Catholic Healthcare West, it is the winner of the 2009 Excellence in New Communications Award for New Media Creation in the Nonprofit Division. The award winners were announced at the 4th Annual SNCR Excellence in New Communications Awards gala at the Harvard Faculty Club in Cambridge, Mass. on Friday, November 6, 2009.
The Society for New Communications Research Awards program honors innovative organizations that are pioneering the use of social media, ICT, mobile media, online communities, and collaborative technologies in the areas of media, marketing, public relations, advertising, entertainment, education, politics and social initiatives.
The award-winning employee communications site PURL was a result of JWT INSIDE's partnership with CHW on a unique way to engage their employees while revealing their newly created employer brand. JWT INSIDE developed Personalized URLs (PURLs) for each and every employee where they could learn about the brand campaign and their own role in bringing it to life. Employees can upload their own videos, voice recordings, photo essays and written essays on how they live their lives on purpose. To date, the PURLs have welcomed over 9,000 unique visitors and nearly 700 employee personal stories!
