Leo Gibney, Ph.D., Joins Evolution Marketing Research as Director

Evolution Marketing Research officially announced today that Leo Gibney, Ph.D., has joined the company as Director, a role that puts him on a partnership track with the firm. Gibney brings almost 20 years of experience — 16 years in the medical/pharmaceutical sector — to Evolution, where he will initiate and manage research projects from beginning to end.

Dr. Gibney has completed research projects for a large number of major pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies. He has conducted hundreds of focus groups and thousands of one-on-one interviews with physicians and other healthcare professionals. He has also applied his knowledge of statistics and research methodologies to a variety of quantitative projects. Gibney will put this skill set to good use as Evolution continues to expand its rapidly growing roster of domestic and global clients.

Before joining Evolution, Dr. Gibney was owner and president of Leo Gibney & Associates, a Berwyn, PA-based agency specializing in pharmaceutical and medical marketing research. As an independent market research professional, Gibney built a reputation as a skilled and engaging moderator.

Prior to starting his own company, Gibney was an instructor at Temple University, where he taught courses in psychology and research methods. He also completed his doctorate work at Temple, earning a Ph.D. in social psychology.
