Attendees of the 2010 Fancy Food Show in San Francisco will have a chance to sample '100% Tunisian' olive oil from select producers and learn the best ways to taste, serve and cook with the finest extra virgin oils from industry guru Bill Sanders. Sanders is a widely recognized authority on wine and olive oil and the founder of Crush and Press, a company that "promotes the enjoyment of these wonderful nectars by providing consumers and companies with information on the proper and healthy use of olive oil and different ways to explore wines."
Sanders will be on hand Sunday, January 17 at the '100 % Tunisian' booth #3438 to teach olive oil tasting and demonstrate the merits of '100% Tunisian' olive oil.
Following storied careers in technology, government and workforce development, Sanders turned his attention to a deep-seated passion for wine and olive oil--two artisanal products that rely heavily on techniques and tradition. He has completed a course in advanced sensory evaluation of olive oil and professional studies at internationally acclaimed programs in wine and cuisine including University of California-Davis and Giuseppe Grappolini's Centro Culturale Olivarte in Loro Ciuffenna, Italy.
