Passaic, NJ (PRWEB) January 13, 2010
As our nation struggles to recover from the recession, hard times have meant little money for gifts for the children of many New Jersey families. So this year, Pastor Wayne Brown of God's Holiness and Righteousness Church in Paterson, NJ decided to lend Santa a hand. In the spirit of the season, Pastor Wayne Brown and his congregation combined their efforts with employees from Huffman Koos Furniture to provide toys and games for hundreds of needy children on Christmas.
Employees from each of eight Huffman Koos Furniture locations in New York and New Jersey donated boxes of toys and games to Pastor Wayne's Christmas Toy Drive. Santa distributed the action figures, dolls, games and even 4 bicycles, donated by Huffman Koos CEO Anthony Mehran, to some very happy children.
Huffman Koos and it's employees were very grateful to Pastor Wayne Brown for this opportunity to give these well-deserving kids a Christmas to remember. Huffman Koos CEO Anthony Mehran had this to say when the drive was over:
"I and my family were blessed to have been able to hand deliver these toys personally to the children on Christmas Day. The joy on the children's faces made it a very special Christmas for us all. I am very proud of all of our employees that participated in the Toy Drive, and we look forward to working with Reverend Brown on many more events that benefit the community."
