DealTattle.com, a coupon code and discount site, has launched. Based in New York City, DealTattle offers consumers the opportunity to find, add and share all money-saving offers on the web.
Scott Sherman, CEO of DealTattle, says "Current coupon code and comparison shopping sites do not aggregate the many sources for money-saving offers in the marketplace. At DealTattle, consumers can find, add and share every single coupon or discount on the net. Our users can create their own unique "lists" of useful coupon codes and store promotional offers; they can compare various coupon offers from competing merchants; and, they can share these "lists" and offers both within and outside our community. So, our goal is to "enable" consumers with an open platform where they get to take advantage of the latest social networking tools plus share like-minded offers and ideas. It is a real deal community."
Mr. Sherman goes on to say, "For example, say I have created a list of terrific electronic discounts and coupons I have found at DealTattle. Our site allows me to share my list, or, an individual offer easily and quickly via Facebook, Twitter or another popular Web 2.0 service. If I have found a coupon elsewhere, I can add it to the DealTattle site and share it as well."
Today there are thousands of coupon codes and merchants already enrolled on the site. This list of participating merchants will grow substantially in the coming weeks and months. Some of the initial merchant coupon codes and discounts already available, include: Walmart, Toys "R" Us, Sears, Kmart, Kohls, as well as many small retailers. The site is free to use and anyone can create a profile and join this new shopping community.
"We seek to grow the market by remaining open and continuing to embrace social networking", say's Mr. Sherman. "Our goal is to become the largest "shopping community on the web".
