40 representatives from the major telecommunications providers in Europe – including Belgacom, BT, Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom, Telecom Italia, Telefonica, SFR, Swisscom, TDC, Teliasonera, Turkcell and Vimpelcom – as well as ETIS technology partners Cloudmark, Symantec, eleven and The Open Group will meet in Bizanga's offices for two days of discussion, information sharing and strategy sessions to deal with the problem of E-mail spam and information security.

During the meeting, Bizanga’s CTO Olivier Lemarié will be presenting a paper on fighting online security threats, one of Bizanga's core competencies. Serge Dugas, Bizanga’s General Manager EMEA stated, “We are extremely pleased to be hosting this event and welcome ETIS members to the two-day event in our new Paris office. This is a recognition of Bizanga's expertise in messaging for large E-mail service providers."

According Dr. Brad King, Lead Solution Architect at Bizanga, "Only a few years ago, businesses were excited about generating great awareness of their online services. Now they hope that spammers and others with malicious intent won't find and attack them. Security holes in online services have become like holes in a dyke that water always finds and exploits."

Bizanga’s Intelligent Message Processor IMP Base Platform is one of a new generation of software-based E-mail solutions that can analyze up to 8 million messages per hour, modifying each message in an e-mail stream as needed and sending it to the intended recipient without perceived delay. Anti-spam and E-mail content filters integrated into IMP help customers identify and remove 98% of spam. By minimizing false positives and detecting virus outbreaks as soon as they occur, they also reduce the impact on E-mail infrastructure and end users. Bizanga’s IMP delivers the performance that E-mail service providers need at a fraction of the cost of incumbent systems.
