What: Dr. Phil Ice, Director of Course Design for American Public University (APU) will speak on the topic of leveraging digital media across the higher education campus for an E-seminar produced by Adobe Higher Education and hosted by The Chronicle of Higher Education Including insights from co-presenter Ellen Wagner, Ph.D., Executive Director, Western Cooperative for Educational Telecommunications (WCET), this session will address the demands on education practitioners to empirically evaluate patterns of success and patterns of failures so that solutions that enable real educational achievement can be ready when and where they are needed most.
Dr. Ice and his team were recently honored with the Sloan Consortium’s Effective Practice Award for their work in Semantic Mapping of Learning Assets.
