MindTouch, the company that transforms great work into strategic content, today announced the appointment of Byoung Lee as CFO. Amid another year of record growth for the company, Lee brings considerable experience to MindTouch and promises to be instrumental in the ongoing strategic direction of the company.
MindTouch is on track to triple revenues in 2010, demonstrating continued impressive growth since its previous record performance in 2009. MindTouch has also added hundreds of new customers including Booz Allen Hamilton, SAIC, Dachis Group, AutoDesk, Panasonic, HP, Trimble, Hydro Quebec, City of Boston, Comcast, Kaplan, Alcatel-Lucent, USITC, Valassis, and LPK. Also of note is the recent release of MindTouch 2010, the company’s first specialized tool-set for social documentation and strategic content, and a successful expansion into Europe with the opening of a London office and the first official international user and partner conference this week in London.
Mr. Lee brings over 15 years of extensive financial, strategic, and operational leadership from a diverse range of industries to MindTouch. Lee was a Partner and High-technology Practice Leader at Tatum, LLC, providing business assessments, strategies and solutions for clients across industries. In his capacity as CFO and in other executive roles at QLP, REMEC, and JMAR, Lee led presentations, negotiations, and closing of numerous strategic transactions. In addition, Lee formulated and executed many operational initiatives that produced measurable results, including efficiency/productivity improvements, cost/cash optimizations, and a business excellence program. Lee holds an MBA from the University of Redlands and a BS-Finance from San Diego State University.
