New Website!

Outsourced AutoCAD Drafting Services provider Brian M. Curran has recently relaunched his existing website under the new domain name DraftingServices dot com. To date Brian M. Curran has successfully provided CAD drafting services on a variety of local projects in New York City that have ranged from creating computer drawings for the current World Trade Center reconstruction project, to computer drafting floor plans directly for homeowners. However, now in addition to servicing local clients, Brian is seeking to service clients who are located throughout the entire United States. The relaunching of his existing website under the new domain name was part of an advertising campaign that has as its goal of Brian becoming a national provider of outsourced AutoCAD drafting services.

When asked about his business and new domain name Brian said, "From New York City I run a CAD Drafting Service, through which to date I have only serviced local clients. However, now I'm seeking to additionally service clients who are located throughout the entire United States. I recently set out to accomplish this through an advertising campaign, part of which was relaunching my existing website under the new domain name."

With an education and background in Engineering and a desire to work for himself, it was in January of 2007 that Brian ventured out in that direction by offering himself as a freelance AutoCAD drafter to various companies located about New York City. Later that year he transitioned out of a freelance role, into acting as the sole proprietor of his own CAD Drafting business that provides outsourced AutoCAD drafting services to AEC Industry companies, homeowners and others with computer drafting needs. To date Brian has successfully provided CAD Drafting services on a variety of local projects that have ranged from creating computer drawings for the current New York City World Trade Center reconstruction project, to computer drafting floor plans directly for homeowners.

In describing his CAD drafting services Brian said, "I specialize in CAD drafting for the structural engineering and architectural disciplines. I've also created AutoCAD drawings for clients in disciplines that I had no prior experience in, when such clients provided me with samples to extrapolate from. To name just two of these instances; I've done this for a Mechanical Contractor who needed HVAC coordination drawings for a NYC DEP Waste Water Treatment Plant Upgrade project, and I've also done this for a Steel Fabricator for his Miscellaneous Metals portion of a different NYC DEP Waste Water Treatment Plant Upgrade project. These times when I've successfully created AutoCAD drawings in disciplines that were new to me are good examples of how I'm adaptable and able to problem solve, which are some of the benefits that a client would receive when outsourcing a CAD drafting project to me. To reiterate, I bring some structural engineering and architectural discipline specific experience to the table, a smattering of other AEC Industry experience, and also the ability to learn new disciplines." Some of his drafting services include: as-built drawings, existing conditions surveys, floor plan drafting, and structural drafting.

When asked what makes his business different than other providers of outsourced AutoCAD drafting services Brian said, "With competition abounding, I differentiate my business from others in a number of ways. From big businesses I'm different in that my clients deal with me one-on-one, because I'm the owner, project manager and CAD operator. From offshore businesses I'm different in that there is no potential for cultural disconnect or incompatibility, and I'm also geographically closer to US clients than they are. From businesses which have a staff who only have CAD backgrounds I'm different in that I have both engineering and CAD experience, so I have an extra perspective to offer than people who don't have this breadth of experience. In short, I provide personal service, while aiming to furnish quality deliverables at a cost that is less expensive than if a client were to have to hire a permanent full time employee."
