Midwest ENERGY Association (MEA) is proud to announce that the 2-person team, Outlaws, from Alagasco (Alabama) and the 4-person team, Insane Methane, from Piedmont Natural Gas (North Carolina) are the 2010 National Gas Rodeo champions.

4-Person, SE Renegades from Washington Gas (Virginia)

2-Person, Tennessee Patriots 2 from Jackson Energy Authority (Tennessee)
4-Person, Southern Express from Alagasco (Alabama)
Other highlights
- Over 40 attendees earned CEUs at the first Safety Training Course. Topics included ergonomics, aging workforce, and field safety.
- For the second year in a row Piedmont Natural Gas’, team Insane Methane broke the Hand Dig record for speed, completing the event in 28 seconds.
- Mike Nizolek from Ameren was honored at the Friday reception with the Trail Boss Award for exemplary service, leadership and contribution to the National Gas Rodeo.
- Laclede and Cascade Natural Gas sent teams to compete for the first time.
