I'm merely the vehicle for the donations-- it's my customers that are making the real difference"
Lincoln, NE (PRWEB) November 9, 2010
3rd EAR™ Magnetic Tool Clips announced plans today to make donations to the Arbor Day Foundation's reforestation program. Now through April, 29 2011 (Arbor Day) for every 10 individual retail units sold at http://www.3rdearmagnetic.com, 3rd EAR™ customers will donate the entire cost to plant 1 tree, and for every custom label order placed, they'll plant 10 trees. The plantings will be done in national forests that have been damaged by wildfires, insects, and disease, and will be overseen by the Arbor Day Foundation working in conjunction with the U.S. Forest Service.
"With so much media focus on deforestation it's easy to overlook the importance of reforestation as a major component in reducing green houses gasses," said Lawrence Owens, hobbyist woodworker and inventor of the 3rd EAR™ Magnetic Tool Clip. "I'm thrilled that we can give something back in this way, but I'm merely the vehicle for the donations-- it's my customers that are making the real difference," Lawrence said.
Celebrating its 1st year in business with a very positive response from woodworkers, crafters, and factory workers-- 3rd EAR™ Magnetic is also thrilled to announce the introduction of a customer driven custom labeling program. Now users can purchase the tool clips in bulk with their logos imprinted on them— making them perfect for tradeshows, customer give-aways, and employee use.
The Patent Pending 3rd EAR™ Magnetic Tool Clip slips onto your safety, sun, or prescription glasses and gives you another ear for your pencil/pen, AND small metal tools that always seem to get lost while you’re working. It encourages the use of safety glasses— and even hangs up your glasses at the end of the day, keeping track of them too.
