Ukraine’s Largest Beauty Industry Trade Show Selects New U.S.-Based Promotion Partner

P.O.P. Event Marketing, Inc. to promote InterCHARM Ukraine 2011 and 2012

One Event for the Entire Ukrainian Beauty Industry.

Estet CC, a magazine publisher and trade fair producer based in the Ukraine, has engaged P.O.P. Event Marketing, Inc. to promote InterCHARM Ukraine, that country’s largest beauty industry trade show.

InterCHARM Ukraine is billed as the “One Event for the Entire Ukrainian Beauty Industry.” In 2009, the event spanned over 170,000 square feet of exhibition space and hosted over 470 exhibitors, including L’Oreal Professional, Paul Mitchell, Dow Corning and Avon.

P.O.P. will provide a wide array of promotional services in support of the 2011 and 2012 exhibitions, scheduled for February of each year at the Kyiv (Kiev) Expo Plaza in the capital of Ukraine.

Estet CC has chosen P.O.P. as the exclusive sales and marketing agent for InterCHARM Ukraine for the US and Canadian markets. Eric Hatch, Principal of P.O.P., said, “Over 37,000 professionals in the beauty industry
attended the 2009 exhibition and conference. Our task will be to inform potential exhibitors throughout North America that the best way to find new customers and distributors in this growing eastern European market is by exhibiting at InterCHARM Ukraine.”

The event also includes many educational sessions, including those sponsored by the International Conference on Applied Aesthetics, the Forum of Massage Technologies, the International Forum of Nail Industry Professionals, and YOU, the International Show for Professional Hairstylists.

P.O.P. Event Marketing, Inc. is led by two seasoned American event professionals. Chief Executive Officer Mike Hatch and Principal Eric Hatch have over 50 years of combined experience in the exhibition industry.

Mike Hatch has managed exhibitions for Holiday Inns International and AT&T. For fifteen years, he owned an exhibit design-and-build operation located in the Washington, DC area. He was also the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a2z, Inc., growing the event management software firm from one client in 1999 to over 500 in 2008, making it the second largest provider in the market segment.

Eric Hatch has provided sales and marketing support for over a dozen trade shows in the United States and overseas, including AFCEA West, AFCEA Technet, Glasstech Asia in Singapore and GovSec.

Mike and Eric have also trained over 10,000 individual exhibitors over the past three decades and will utilize their experience to train any exhibitor who commits to the InterCHARM Ukraine exposition. That training may include webinars, seminars and personalized preparation, both on differences in the Ukrainian event industry and proper pre-event, on-site, and post-event promotion and sales fulfillment.

P.O.P. has also secured Associate Membership in the Professional Beauty Association for Estet CC and the event brand name InterCHARM Ukraine.
