Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) November 11, 2010
The Street Life Series® is proud to announce the "soft launch" of http://www.blackconfederatesoldiers.com. The website represents a significant amount of research, analysis, and design with hyperlinks to original primary and secondary sources about African-Americans who served with the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War (1861-1865).
The design and composition of the blackconfederatesoldiers.com website are based on the demand for more evidenced-based content in regards to those African-Americans who served with the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War. The site includes hyperlinks to "The War of Rebellion: A Compilation of the Official Records of Union and Confederate Armies" publications, video documentaries, media reports, literature, memorials as well as pension records. In addition, the website includes a list of recently published books on the subject matter.
Teaming with people across the globe, additional facts and analytics will continue to be added. By April 2011, the 150th Anniversary of the American Civil War, the website will officially launch as a well cited supplemental resource concerning African-Americans who served with the Confederate States Army during The War Between The States.
The new site was created as part of The Street Life Series® ongoing literary expansion and the outreach alliance of The Stay Off The Streets Fund (stayoffthestreets.org). For more information, email email@example.com.
