Tampa, FL (Vocus) December 1, 2010
Phara E. McLachlan, CEO of Animus Solutions, Inc., has been named as a 2010 Up and Comer by Tampa Bay Business Journal. This year’s program recognized Tampa Bay’s “Rock Stars” based on their achievements both in their businesses and also within the local community.
Winners of this annual program represented the best and brightest in the Tampa Bay Community who showed a work ethic that extends far beyond the “day job.” McLachlan, as the CEO of Animus Solutions, has raised and donated more than $145,000 for philanthropic activities and has made community outreach a part of her organization. Under her leadership, Animus has been recognized, most recently, as a Healthiest Employer by Tampa Bay Business Journal, representing the company’s wellness efforts.
“It’s a great honor to be recognized for this achievement, as I have strived to run my business in a manner that benefits our employees, society and the environment,” said McLachlan. “We have not only an opportunity, but an obligation to make a positive contribution to the communities we both live and work in.”
Animus Solutions has also been recognized by Tampa Bay Business Journal as a Best Place to Work and one of the Top 100 Women-Owned Businesses in Florida, showcasing the company’s growth and strong leadership.
