Privasoft, a world leader in freedom of information (FOI) process automation announced today they will be hosting a web seminar for the FOIA community to provide guidance on modern technologies for FOIA automation.

Thursday, January 28, 2010, Privasoft will host a web seminar discussing how government agencies can comply with President Obama's memorandum regarding the use of “modern technology to inform citizens about what is known and done by their Government.” This shift towards an open government policy has left many agencies wanting to comply, but with no direction to do so.

The web seminar will also present how FOIA teams can support citizen-centric objectives through Privasoft's AccessPro Suite, including AccessPro Case Management and AccessPro Redaction, with special focus on AccessPro Portal. AccessPro Portal allows agencies to provide information, documents, as well as FOIA request tracking via the Internet. Products such as AccessPro Portal allow agencies to put a web-face on their FOIA operations to improve citizen service as well as speed up request turn-around time so that legislated timelines can be met.

The seminar will be held from 2:00pm – 3:00pm EST on January 28, 2010. The seminar is free, and upon completion, Privasoft staff will be fielding questions from the attendees. For more information, or to sign up for the web seminar, go to .
