Pittsburgh-based InventHelp® attempts to submit clients' inventions to companies for review.

InventHelp®, America’s largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from North Carolina, has designed a tool safety device that would ensure that a user has a firm grip on the tool being used so that he or she could hold it effectively. This invention is patented and a prototype is available.

The “Tool Safety Master” would enhance a user’s control of a tool. Designed to reduce the risk of injury associated with operating various tools, this device would be easily adjustable and would aid a user in manipulating the tool in a tight spot. “I was tired of holding stuff altogether,” said the inventor, which allowed him to come up with this one-step tool safety process.

The invention would consist of an extension piece that attaches to a tool. The unit would be composed of a metal pipe with an adjustable handle that would slide up and down the pipe. The handle would be composed of a cylindrical, aluminum shaft covered with rubber. To operate, a user would simply connect the device to a tool and proceed using it normally.

InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 06-RND-344 at (800) 851-6030.
