Total Phase, an industry-leading provider of embedded systems tools, is pleased to announce the general availability of the Beagle USB 5000 SuperSpeed Protocol Analyzer, a real-time bus monitor for SuperSpeed USB (USB 3.0). The Beagle USB 5000 analyzer will be featured at booth 36505, in the USB Tech Zone at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada. The analyzer features interactive real-time display and filtering of SuperSpeed USB data, and cross-platform support for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.

"We are proud to join the USB 3.0 market as we see the increased adoption of the specification. The Beagle USB 5000 analyzer offers developers the ability to interactively work with USB 3.0 data in real time as it occurs on the bus,” said Derek Fung, VP Business at Total Phase. “ The Beagle USB 5000 analyzer is the value leader in USB 3.0 analysis, providing SuperSpeed USB engineers a feature-rich tool at an affordable price.”

Advanced USB 3.0 Analysis Features

Due to the Beagle USB 5000 analyzer's ability to continuously stream USB 3.0 data to the analysis PC, engineers are able to record more than the 2GB of memory storage available in the analyzer's hardware. The analyzer's streaming ability also gives users the ability analyze data immediately without waiting for the capture buffer to download to the analysis PC.

With native 64-bit operating system support, the Data Center™ Software allows developers to easily work with large data sets. Sophisticated Match/Action triggers are available in an optional upgrade to help developers precisely pinpoint data of interest using a complex multi-state, sequence-based trigger. This upgrade also includes the ability to simultaneously capture USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 data in real time allowing developers to test backwards compatibility of USB 3.0 devices.

Pricing and Availability of the Beagle USB 5000 Analyzer

The Beagle USB 5000 analyzer, featured in the USB Community at CES, is now shipping. Starting at a price point of $5,000 in the USA, the feature-rich and user-friendly Beagle USB 5000 analyzer is the value leader in USB 3.0 debugging and analysis.
