Military training is focused on the mission. Combat troops exercise to prepare for combat, not for health reasons. Boot camp fitness for the general population must be health focused. Leading a healthy lifestyle needs to be the mission of every American.
Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) January 7, 2011
Boot camp fitness expert, Lt. Col. Bob Weinstein, ret. and his boot camp class will be filmed and interviewed on January 6, 2011 at the Harbor Beach Marriott on Fort Lauderdale Beach in South Florida from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm by Roxanne Vargas for her new show on the new 24/7 digital TV program, NBC Miami Nonstop.
Colonel Weinstein will talk about the health benefits of attending a fitness boot camp and some of his class participants will be interviewed. “There are many success stories about weight loss, increased performance and energy, better muscle definition and changed eating habits. Some boot camp members have lost between 20 and 60 pounds. “
Colonel Weinstein: “You will not just find fit bodies in my boot camp classes. All shapes and sizes and all fitness levels attend my classes. Class members are encouraged to stay in touch with their bodies. It they need to back off of an exercise due to overexertion they should do so.”
The emphasis on Col. Weinstein’s classes is health. His military background allows him to incorporate optimal use of natural body weight exercises. Push-ups, squats, crunches, dips, jumping jacks and many more exercises are incorporated into the 80 to 90 minute sessions. “Military training is focused on the mission. Combat troops exercise to prepare for combat, not primarily for health reasons. Boot camp fitness for the general population must be health focused. Leading a healthy lifestyle needs to be the mission of every American.
