The Society of Chest Pain Centers, an international nonprofit organization focused on improving cardiac patient care, has announced its 14th Congress to be held May 2-5, 2011 at the InterContinental Hotel in Miami, FL.
Leading experts will present a series of lectures and workshops related to acute coronary syndrome, heart failure, observation medicine and atrial fibrillation. The content and quality of these lectures attract an increasing number of health care professionals and top executives who are interested in providing quality cost-effective care.
The Society of Chest Pain Centers has been extremely successful in bridging the health care disciplines that work to improve the care of the cardiac patient. This success is in part due to their unique approach which endeavors to create partnerships with these disciplines, helping them break down silos that exist within their organizations surrounding cardiac patient care. “Offering education, accreditation and now certification as methods of assisting health care professionals and facilities, SCPC continues to grow as does our annual conference attendance, " explained Kay Styer Holmes, RN, MSA, Director of Accreditation Services at the Society of Chest Pain Centers.
