Rock Island, IL (PRWEB) January 8, 2011
The 600 sq. ft. office in Rock Island, Illinois is unassuming. Inside, there are two offices, a tiny bathroom, a small kitchen, a printer and a storage closet. Upon walking though the front door, you are greeted by Rachel Egolf, the graphic design department. The walls were painted by a family member and the décor was largely pieced together from furniture and wall hangings taken from the owners’ homes.
Wade Baffa, co-owner of CampaignPros.com, shares, “We like it this way. Low overhead is very important to us. Do we want a plasma TV mounted to the wall and state-of-the-art computers? Yes, but we don’t need them.”
Co-owners, Baffa and Mike Mathews, who are the active managers of the company’s day-to-day operations, attribute much of their growing success to their frugal attitude.
Baffa adds, “We are liquid, we have no debt.”
CampaignPros.com has seen a 60% growth in gross sales from 2009 to 2010. The company posted a seven digit sales number in a market that Baffa describes as “constantly growing.”
When asked what factors contributed to their steady growth, Mathews shared, “We believe we are doing this through community networking, intense internet marketing, repeat business and client referrals.”
The company’s specialty is yard signs (http://www.campaignpros.com/yard_signs.htm), banners, t-shirts and decals. Their largest clientele base is political campaigns, a group that Baffa jokes, always has to spend money.
CampaignPros.com was started in Lincoln, Illinois by Jonathan Gainer and his wife, Jenny, both Davenport, IA natives. Currently, the Gainer family (Jon, Jenny and their three children) are serving as missionaries in the Ukraine. They left the U.S. in December of 2009 and are not due back until at least December of 2014.
The company has found a niche on the internet. Their services include in-house design, an online sign designer built into their website, a 24-our online quote system and non-printing services such as automated phone calling and campaign consulting.
