Bolstering Its Rigorous Screening Process Allows Image Space Media to Thoroughly Ward Off Offensive Content, Malware

Image Space Media (, the leading provider of In-Image advertising, today announced that it has tapped UK-based Image Analyser, a specialist in image scanning to reinforce and automate elements of its already rigorous manual screening processes.

As part of the relationship, Image Analyser will integrate its technology into Image Space Media’s AdStart service to enhance the brand protection elements of the platform, ensuring greater levels of confidence and security to advertising clientele and to publishers.

The two companies will work closely and collaboratively to allow image inventory to be efficiently and effectively scanned to identify and manage inappropriate and malicious content. Image Space Media will initially deploy the Image Analyser technology to verify that images across its vast publisher network, which serves over a quarter billion impressions per month, are compliant with advertisers brand guidelines for In-Image advertising

Image Analyser is an established developer and OEM provider of high performance image scanning technology, which identifies pornographic content in digital file formats. The company has, over the last five years, successfully licensed their technology primarily in the IT Security market with major vendor customers including Cisco, McAfee, Proofpoint, Webroot, M86 etc. The agreement with ISM represents the company’s first of what it believes will be many major implementation in the online advertising market sector.
