The Hernia Center of Ohio, known for hernia repair with a rapid recovery, updated its website with a new design, more information on types of hernias and easier ways to request an appointment.

A hernia specialist for 25 years, Dr. Grischkan has performed more than 20,000 surgeries at the northeast Ohio center near Cleveland (patients - including other doctors - have come from around the world).

He created the Modified Shouldice Technique, which involves lasers, a mesh screen and continuous stitching for patient comfort and superior results. Most patients are discharged within one or two hours and resume regular activities within a few days.

The expanded website includes more information about hernias, insurance/self-pay details, additional testimonials and several options to request an appointment.

“We re-organized the website and gave it a fresh look,” Dr. Grischkan said. “We’ve made it easier for people to learn about their hernia treatment options and find out why patients – including doctors – prefer our approach.”
