Precision-Paragon P2 today announced that Joe Martin, current vice president of engineering, will be promoted to vice president and general manager succeeding Ray Pustinger, effective January 1, 2011. The announcement was made by Joe Incrocci, vice president/general manager and founder of Varon Lighting Group.

“Joe has a strong track record of success at P2 and in the energy industry. In his time at P2, he has been the driving force behind developing lighting solutions that have helped establish the company’s position as a leading energy-efficient lighting manufacturer. Joe’s experience and leadership capabilities make him the right fit for this role and responsibility,” Incrocci said.

As P2 vice president of engineering Martin most recently has supervised product development, advanced customer application support and project development for the company. He came to P2 in 2007 from Hardin Geotechnologies, Inc., a multi-discipline energy service company that implements demand-side energy conservation measures. At Hardin, Martin wrote performance contracts and third party financing agreements for the company’s customers. Earlier in his career, Martin directed sales, engineering and operations for the Mexican division of FATA Automation, a global supplier of automated material handling systems.

Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University, an MBA from Purdue’s Krannert School of Management, and a European MBA from Tilburg University’s TiasNimbas Business School in the Netherlands.
