Syracuse, NY (PRWEB) January 19, 2011
Seneca, a leader in innovative technology solutions, today announced that their manufacturing facility in North Syracuse has been registered by UL-DQS to the ISO 13485:2003 standard.
With this certification, Seneca will begin the configuration and assembly of desktop and laptop computers and servers to catalog and customer specification for medical applications.
"Attaining ISO 13485 certification demonstrates Seneca's ongoing commitment to superior quality and its forward-looking business perspective," said Mark Ward, Director of Quality, at Seneca. "This certification will strategically position us for additional opportunities in the expanding medical application market."
The addition of this ISO standard to our portfolio underscores the company commitment to quality and its expanding leadership position as the custom computer manufacturer of choice for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), value added resellers (VARs) and independent software vendors (ISVs) across the USA.
At the core of the quality program is the Seneca Quality Policy:
"We will exceed our customers' expectations and maintain the effectiveness of our Quality Management System by providing innovative solutions, involving our people and partners, and continually improving our performance."
To maintain certification, Seneca will participate in annual surveillance audits to ensure ongoing compliance with the standard.
