Chantilly, VA (PRWEB) January 20, 2011
Abelard Construction, the premier residential restoration firm in the Midwest, donates gift cards to a widowed mother this holiday season to help offset energy bills, grocery bills, and to create a happy holiday for her children.
"Giving back to those less fortunate is simply a part of our business model. Every year, Abelard Construction is committed to donating to charity and giving back to our communities,” says Anthony Delmedico, CEO of Abelard Construction.
Since her husband’s passing five years ago, Waheda, widowed mother of three, has been struggling to find work, to make ends meet, and to provide for her children. Every day is a constant struggle. Abelard paid her electric bill that was going to be turned off, donated $200 for groceries, and provided a gift certificate so Waheda could buy her children the warm clothes they need for winter such as coats, gloves, and hats.
"I pray every single day and believe that God has a plan for everyone and that's what keeps me going for my children each day. This Christmas, Abelard answered my prayers! I can not thank you enough, and I know you are an angel sent to me from God,” says Waheda, widowed mother of three.
