Healthcare Administrative Partners (HAP) has announced the addition of two employees. The company offers outsourced billing, coding, and medical practice management consulting to healthcare providers.

These appointments will support the need for data-driven assessment and planning. This is a strategic requirement that will help our clients adapt and thrive during these challenging times.

Healthcare Administrative Partners (HAP) has announced the addition of two employees. The company offers outsourced billing, coding, and medical practice management consulting to healthcare providers.

Yukki Lam has joined the company as a Practice Manager for the MidAtlantic Region. Yukki will be based in the District of Columbia/Virginia area. She is an experienced Revenue Cycle Management and Business Intelligence consultant. Yukki will use her in-depth knowledge to help clients strategize, plan, and assess their revenue cycle performance.

Most recently, Yukki was employed at The Advisory Board Company where she helped major health systems to improve quality processes and manage operations. She helped develop revenue cycle best practices such as self-pay collection strategies, charity care, billing, and denial management. Yukki has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and a Master’s degree from Northwestern University.

Carol Smith has been appointed Director of Data Analysis. She will support HAP clients’ ongoing information requirements and position HAP to support business intelligence requirements in the future. Carol will identify, acquire, and synthesize relevant data to meet clients’ revenue cycle planning and management requirements.

Carol’s experience includes product planning, business management and systems, business, and quality analysis. Most recently, Ms. Smith was with NextGen Healthcare Systems where she helped develop software for healthcare quality measures reporting. Prior to that, she held a variety of roles at Siemens Healthcare. Carol earned her BS in Biological Sciences at California University and her MS in Biostatistics at University of Pittsburgh.
