Providing key information to help increase provider survival rates in a tough reimbursement climate

“We chose to partner with Brightree because they are the innovative leader in business management systems and they have a strong focus on industry advocacy,” said Wayne Stanfield, president and CEO of NAIMES

Brightree LLC, the leading provider of business management solutions for the HME/DME market, has formed a strategic alliance with the National Association of Independent Medical Equipment Suppliers (NAIMES) to help providers stay informed about industry legislation and help promote advocacy efforts to better the DME community.

Under the partnership, Brightree and NAIMES will work together to develop a series of informational programs to help Brightree’s customer base stay informed about various topics, such as competitive bidding, that have a significant impact on the industry.

“At Brightree, we believe with information comes power,” said Chris Watson, chief marketing officer for Brightree. “By partnering with NAIMES and continuing to deliver integrated business intelligence solutions, we are empowering our customers with the information and tools they need to take control of their businesses during these challenging times.”

“We chose to partner with Brightree because they are the innovative leader in business management systems and they have a strong focus on industry advocacy,” said Wayne Stanfield, president and CEO of NAIMES. “It is refreshing to see Brightree’s passion and dedication to helping providers thrive in this tough reimbursement climate. Providers need champions like Brightree in their corner.”

Brightree has recently added to its product line advanced business intelligence tools, such as the Product Profitability Analyzer and the Business Scorecard, to give providers easy access to real-time information about their businesses. Brightree™ business intelligence solutions help providers make more informed decisions about things such as which products are more profitable, which payers cause their DSOs to be out of line, and which referral partners generate unprofitable relationships.

In a recent industry webinar entitled Survival of the Fittest, Brightree customer Dan Desimone, president and CEO of Continued Care of L.I., said, “Brightree dashboards deliver daily, real-time updates on my business that enable me to make key decisions. I can customize the dashboards to fit my specific needs, because Brightree has the flexibility to deliver the data in the format that works best for me.” For more information about Brightree’s business intelligence tools, visit http://www.brightree.com/reporting-and-business-analytics.aspx.

One of NAIMES key initiatives for 2011 is working with its members on its Action Plan to repeal the flawed competitive bidding program. NAIMES will continue to represent and support independent DME suppliers through its advocacy efforts.

Additionally, NAIMES will be working to increase its membership in 2011. “More members will expand our base of relationships with members of Congress at home and increase our power to affect change,” said Stanfield.
