txtNation, leading mobile payments and solution provider, has today launched local support in the Nordics, starting with an initial roll-out in Denmark and Sweden.

This support in Denmark will comply with the regulator, Rammeaftalen and across Sweden for compliance with the Morgan Code of Conduct service requirements for Mobile Payments and SMS Short Code Billing. txtNation are one of the first mobile aggregators to ensure this is in place.

Local language support for end users and customers will be available from today, including fast track customer assistance online, meaning customers who have a query can resolve online via txtNation's award winning dedicated support platform, txtNation SD without support involvement on the phone.

txtNation is working on not just the compliance, but above all else putting in place a model for support that will increase retention and network relations as mobile payments continue to evolve.

Michael Whelan, Director of mobile solutions provider txtNation says: "Mobile payments in Scandinavia is blossoming and in accordance with keeping up with regulations for premium rate services, we have decided to go one stage further put a physical presence in these markets to handle the support, dedicated to the job of assisting customers."

This comes on the back of the news last month, txtNation hinting that operators are looking to increase payouts for Premium SMS and Short Code related Mobile Billing services.

txtNation is currently working on a local support basis in Denmark and Sweden. Norway and Finland will then follow a localised support strategy for mobile payments, with WAP Billing being launched during the course of this year across all markets.

Going forward, txtNation believes it is paramount to offer support as local as possible as mobile payments become more prevalent and as such customer demands increase with learning. txtNation aim to educate and Norway and Finland will have local txtNation support enabled in Q2 of this year.
